All of these needs to be taken into consideration when doing a set up. The one factor influences the other. If the one is adjusted the other one is adjusted.
  1. Horizontal condylar inclination
  2. Compensation curve (Curve of Spee and Curve of Monson)
  3. Protrusive incisal guidance
  4. Plane of occlusion
  5. Bucco-lingual inclination of tooth axis
  6. Saggital condylar pathway
  7. Saggital incisal guidance
  8. Tooth alignment
  9. Relative cusp height
