This is just a reminder that Monday is Dental Technology Theory block exams and you need to report at 08h30. We will write in the staff room for both the written exams. Monday, 22 October 2012 is practical exams and the exams is only over one day.

Delivery of physical force to the dentition is achieved using a combination of force delivery methods. These include orthodontic wires, springs elastic chains and headgears. And the force system describes all forces involved and allows for analysis and calculation of resultant forces on a tooth or groups of teeth.
Elastics are a routine source of force delivery
Screw forces are much less frequently used because they are difficult to control in a lower force range
Forces may also be applied directly to the tooth by means of brackets or attachments
