My biggest fear is that im not going to be able to finish all the practical cases to meet the deadlines throughout the block. Im working as fast as I can but I know I'm still not fast enough. Ultimately, my fear is failing the prac work if I don't double my working pace.
I will try to put your fears at ease, I feel that you feel some pressure because I am giving you a time limit which you do not feel comfortable with. I will work with you to reach our goals
F.A.I.L.I.N.G due to not meeting deadlines.. or meeting them by rushing and not achieving the correct required function.. And receiving a blue eye from yOu ma'm for asking unthought of questions... :P no jokes aside. Majority of the class fears not passing your block. That's more because of what they'v heard or have been told about "Mrs. D's Block" actually being in the block now we or i find that their is a reasonable amount of time allocated for the work and that in actual fact it is not that bad.. i speak for myself on that part.. i might be speaking to soon.. but i highly doubt that inadequate time would be given as to not allow the students to finish what is required. if we are were we are suppose to be everyday. it will be done.
Well said Muqsit, I think modt of you have spoken to senior students and they are giving you this idea that Advanced Dentures (block 2) is a battle zone. As said in class I want you guys to become independent to s certain degree. I will help you all the way if you work with me.
My biggest fear this block is the quality of my work. Yes i may be able to rush my work to reach deadlines but my work will not be outstanding. I also fear asking questions when I do not understand something, this is because i refuse to appear "dumb" in the eyes of my peers (classmates) and I do not want to be a nuisance to my lecturer.
@ Vera: with regards to asking questions I dont think there is anybody as "dumb" as me in this world my friend, So dont be afraid and ask as much as you want.xxx :D

DeleteMy fear for this block is similar to Sams, as i fear that i might not be able to complete my practical work in time to meet Mrs. D's deadlines.
ReplyDeleteI will work with you on theses fears in class and the same comment I made to Sam appliescto you. If you work at a constant pace we will get there.
